]]> http://www.butterflydesign.com/storyaday/?feed=rss2&p=3362 1 Ellie update… http://www.butterflydesign.com/storyaday/?p=3358 http://www.butterflydesign.com/storyaday/?p=3358#comments Wed, 02 May 2012 02:12:17 +0000 admin http://www.butterflydesign.com/storyaday/?p=3358 Apparently, I haven’t blogged in a while.  We’ve been busy having so much fun, I forgot to blog!  Ellie is now scooting her way all over the place.  She tries to scoot after us when we walk to another room.  She loves scooting her way to the doorstop and flicking it so it makes a great boing sound.  She is a fan of cords…we are not fans that she is a fan of cords!  She is proficient at saying “ra-ra-ra-ra” but we are still awaiting other consonants :)   She’s a fan of her vowels, however.  She “sings” her vowels for a good stretch each day.  I’ve tried to capture her chattering away on video, but she stops every time I hold up the camera.  She has crossed into the “attached” realm where she cries when we hand her off to someone new.  Daycare tells me she stops crying about 10 seconds after I walk out the door, but she sure doesn’t like it when I first leave!  Hmmm…what else…she loves yogurt, she ate her first meat in the form of “turkey vegetable” baby food, and she still loves to smile – as evidenced by this recent photo…
